I'm in Mid-Florida.. Yeah summer is very hot.. I have some cheap off grid land where I store stuff, stretch out, work on projects and hide without having to move.. Something with lots of 5 bars of cellular, shade, solar power, fans, an ebike, water collection and a well. For sure loneliness is hard, I can only take about 4 days without some form of social. You have to mix it up too. Personally, I don't want to drive more than 90 minutes to get to a big city or beach and never drive more than a 3 hours a week. My land is only 15 minutes from a super walmart, home depot, mechanic shop and major hospital. Find a way to get out of the van from 11am to 4pm.. Under a tree, The mall, the gym, the park, the lake, a long lunch.

I just started vanlife today 😂 I will say I am going in with 0 expectations. I know its not an easy lifestyle. I spoke to my boss a year before I planned all of the specifics out so I could avoid having to find parking after work. Luckily he allowed me to park in our work parking lot and it is gated with cameras and 24 hr surveilance. I am currently in the honey moon phase but will take it a day at a time. I done this for my already isolated lifestyle in apartment. I am hoping this allows me to open up and see more of the world. All I know is I'll learn lessons and continue to grow. I am so grateful and hope the tough road ahead won't be too rigid.

I’m glad I watched this video. Great advice. I’ve been trying to figure out what to buy, and I was going to go stealth, but maybe it doesn’t really matter.

Every public place is in theory fair game. Even though there might be local ordinances restricting sleeping in cars, these ordinances are probably unconstitutional in the US. Courts have already ruled about panhandlers. Panhandling is a constitutionally protected activity so sleeping in your car is probably too. Homeless people need to sleep somewhere.

Hola, hello beautiful world God Almighty bless all ❤️I have been thinking have u guys thought of traveling in groups of 3 meaning,in three van/ cars exactly what I saying yes travel, no u can find people of your comfortable everybody is different and alot of people are like u we are sooo much more alike then we are different God bless all ❤️🌈❤️

If your parked on a public road that your allowed to be on not much the cops can do..I mean ya they can ask you to leave and I can ask them to message my feet lol they can ask anything they want it doesn’t mean you have to leave…if your parked in a area where your not supposed to be parked in all they can do is give you a parking ticket unless of course it’s an area where they can tow you but for the most part they can’t do poop or give you a ticket..if they knock don’t even answer them….ya you notice people live in there vehicle but a lot of people who don’t know what to look for and if they see that they won’t even know what it is you can still blend in…don’t be afraid you pay for these public roads your allowed to use them how ever you see fit..imagine paying for something and being told how you can use it lol…but let’s just say your state doesn’t allow it ah um ok best of luck proving it just don’t admit to it what are you doing in your van i’m knitting a sweatshirt for strangers lol it doesn’t matter im doing what ever I want in my legally park vehicle….great video thanks for making it
